If you think this P4 has been restored, we suggest you take a second look at the pictures, especially the interior shot.

While it is certainly shined up for the pictures, this car has not been restored.

Indeed ! It (the Bob Northwood car) was nonetheless a nice exercise in my humble opinion. Franco Sbarro in Switzerland also once or twice made a recreation of the P4 so I believe.

I believe that the ‘cut and paste P4′ you are refering to is the one created by Bob Northwood in the early 80′s, using original body spares and a modified 512 BB frame

Although he two air intakes in the back seem out of place, the other changes work for me. Not as pretty as the original, but still one of the best ever!

As we know it, the P4 is configured as it was during Ferrari’s foray into Can-Am.

In 1967, the two P4s (0858 and 0860) were modified with a smooth front-end devoid of any lights, a different rear spoiler and two air intakes curving outward to the fuel injection trumpets.

They were called the Ferrari 350 Can-Am.

Is this a “cut-and-paste” 330 P4 ? I cannot recall that I ever saw it race in this configuration by the factory. Could anybody tell me how i can send you a photo (jpeg format) ?
