2009 Amelia Island Concours de Sport Best in Class Winners

The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is well known for its penchant for sports and racing cars. Led by founder Bill Warner, who raced “in the day” and vintage races today, the Amelia Concours goes out of its way to include a wide variety of sports and racing cars.

Further reinforcing the sports and racing partiality, Amelia was the first Concours to establish two Best in Show awards: Concours d’Elegance and Concours de Sport, which recognize the top traditional vehicle and top racing vehicle, respectively.

The 2009 Amelia Island Concours “Best of Show” Concours d’Elegance was won by the 1931 Voisin C20 Demi-Berline, and Concours de Sport was won by the 1923 Miller Special 122 Supercharged.

We have divided the classes into “Elegance” and “Sports & Racing” to better highlight the Best in Class winners. “Sports and Racing” class winners are listed below and “Elegance” winners are found by clicking here.
