Now in its fourth year, the Salon Privé Concours D’Elégance has progressively grown in stature and now attracts some of the world’s finest and rarest historic cars.

David Bagley, the event’s co-founder says: “We are lucky enough to have a world-renowned team of specialists working for us, and they have excelled in pulling together one of the most exclusive and valuable collections of historic cars that you will find anywhere in Europe. These cars sitting alongside the modern super car collection make for a unique event. This year, there are six feature categories including Aston Martin: Birth of the DB Series; Supercars of the ’70′s; Ferrari: Al Fresco; Grand Routier-The style & panache of the ’30′s & ’40′s; Pre-War GP: The Golden Era of Motor Racing and American Muscle Cars

salon prive 2009 aston martin 300x225 2009 Salon Privé Concours d’Elegance InformationAmongst the mouth-watering confirmed entries of this year’s display are two immortal 2.9 Alfa Romeos, a Berlinetta and a Spyder; one of only two Profilee bodied T46 Bugatti’ s made; a T59 Grand Prix Bugatti; an Hispano-Suiza H6B Coupe de Ville by Kellner and Hispano Suiza J12; a Ferrari 275 GTB/4 NART Spyder and a truly historic gathering of post-war Aston’s, including a DBR1, DB3/1 and DB4 GT Zagato.

Amongst those responsible for judging the cars this year are five time Le Mans winner, Derek Bell MBE; Aston Martin’s design chief Marek Reichman; Max Girardo, Managing Director of RM Auctions Europe; driver and TV presenter Tiff Needell and former model and style guru, Lisa Butcher.
