Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC) released their 2010 vintage race schedule, which features thirteen events, starting and ending at Silverstone. Due to the current situation with Donington Park, HSCC will not be returning there in 2010, but they hope to return there in the future.
HSCC is a premier organisation for Historic racing in the UK, and they manage championships for the majority of Historic racing categories. These include the Derek Bell Trophy for Historic Formula 5000 and Historic Formula Two, Guards Trophy for GT and Sports Cars, as well as championships for Historic Formula Three, Formula Junior, ’70s Road Sports, Historic Road Sports, Touring Cars, Formula Ford, Formula Ford 2000 and Classic Racing Cars.
Besides championships, HSCC also organises and assists in the running of many of Britain’s Historic motorsport meetings such as the Oulton Park Gold Cup and Tour Britannia, and organise a couple of races at the Silverstone Classic.
