2010 Legends of Riverside Racing Film Festival

Dan Gurney enjoying the inaugural Legends of Riverside Racing Film FestivalOne of Riverside Raceway’s earliest and most enduring legendary figures, Carroll Shelby will be the gala honoree at the second annual “Legends of Riverside” gathering at the Riverside International Raceway Museum which will take place over the weekend of March 26-28, 2010.

The Shelby name is synonymous with the great racing that went on at Riverside – This will be a special event with a true motorsports icon. And combined with an additional 50 racing celebrities; drivers, car owners, authors and artists, the ‘Legends” is a do not miss event.

Last year’s inaugural event sold out early and the “reviews” were all very positive. Bringing a collection of veteran racing drivers, mechanics, designers, car owners, artists and journalists together with a dedicated group of racing fans produced a weekend of memories and great fellowship that will be long remembered.

A total of only 150 three day all-inclusive credentials will be sold again this year. “We’re really not about huge crowds at this event,” said Museum Director, Doug Magnon. “This is a place where the fans and their heroes can spend some quality time one-on-one. We’ve purposely kept the paid attendance number low and the special guest list high, that’s our secret of success for this event. And for 2010, we will be featuring more veteran drivers, more never before seen racing footage and films and even more exciting awards.”
