SVRA’s first outing as an organization was as a support race for the Can-Am at Road Atlanta in September of 1980. Seventeen cars attended that inaugural event, with exotics such as Jim Roger’s Ferrari Testa Rossa and Howard Turner’s Lister Jaguar among the cars taking to the track. The 2010 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance was held Sunday, March 14th on the 10th and 18th fairways of the Golf Club of Amelia Island adjacent to the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island, Florida.
