Art Center Monterey Tour 2011 Information

DSC 6911 285x189 Art Center Monterey Tour 2011 InformationArt Center College of Design and the California Mille are collaborating on a tour from Pasadena to Carmel on August 14-15, 2011 to kickoff “Monterey Week.”

The Art Center Monterey Tour will consist of two days on the back roads of Central California, with designated stops for lunches and overnight. Cars of any year, which are judged to be of significant design merit, are invited. Art Center will review and accept the entries, which are due by July 1, 2011.

The one overnight will be at the historic Paso Robles Inn (805-238-2660). Entry fee is $200, plus a separate $1,000 donation to the Art Center College of Design. Hotel reservations and meals are at entrant’s expense. Route notes will be provided. The start will be at Art Center’s Pasadena campus on Sunday morning. There will be a welcoming party late Monday afternoon at our friend Patrick Phinney’s Baja Cantina in Carmel Valley.
