About Larry Edsall

Larry Edsall wanted to be a major league baseball umpire when he grew up. Instead of calling balls and strikes, he found a home in the press box. He was a sportswriter and sports editor for daily newspapers in Michigan before being recruited by Leon Mandel to AutoWeek magazine. Twelve years later, he was recruited again, to the desert Southwest, to establish editorial content for automotive websites. He continues to oversee www.iZoom.com, consults at www.classiccars.com, writes a weekly feature for The Detroit News, and is the author of more than a dozen books.
