All Original – 1970 Plymouth Barracuda AAR

This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda AAR proves the phrase “original muscle car” is no oxymoron. For better or worse, most muscle cars led hard lives filled with burnouts and blown engines. And while finding fine restored examples is relatively easy, finding fine originals is another matter entirely. This is one of the reasons this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda caught our eye. With less than 24,000 miles on the odometer this Plymouth is said to be all original from the paint and interior down to the license plate and tires. Better still, it’s equipped with the rare, one-year-only AAR package that commemorated Dan Gurney’s All American Racers team with special decals, a fiberglass hood, side exhaust and a 340 V8 topped with 3 two-barrel carburetors. Photos show the car to be in excellent condition with original paint showing little wear or damage, and the interior displays equally nice condition. The license plates still have their 1970 registration sticker and the tires look fresh. Even the factory supplied deflated spare comes complete with the original tire inflation can. As AAR’s go, we’ve never seen one this original or complete. Find the ‘Cuda for sale here on eBay in Port Jefferson Station, New York with the reserve not yet met at $33,999.99.
