The Spirit of Ecstasy gracing the hood of this 1933 Rolls-Royce 20/25 Drophead Coupe may not speak, but her message is clear in any language: “This person has arrived.” Also, “move your car if you were silly enough to take the first parking space.” It’s true, and we’ve seen even the least car-minded people—Germanic grandmothers included—ooh and aah at the sight of one of these classic English vehicles. From the looks of things this Rolls Royce will elicit the same responses with its disappearing convertible top, striking two-door bodywork, and beautiful grey/black over red leather color combination. According to the seller the car received a restoration in 2004 and the work has reached that age where there’s just enough patina evident to enjoy the car without concern. We can’t think of any better way to spend the weekend than seeing Spirit lead us down our favorite road or to our favorite spot for brunch.
