This 1970s funny car sports disco-era paint and graphics, a Ford Maverick “flopper” body and a big block 429 engine. Purchased from the defunct Race Rock Cafe, the vintage drag car had formerly been displayed as the “Plastic Fantastic” car featured in period magazines. The current owner’s research suggests it might not be the original but the chassis ID tags should be a great place to begin researching its history. We love the wild look and ferocious noise of vintage drag cars and would love to sit just behind that 429 big block for blast down the quarter mile.
