While we would normally avoid listings saying a car “comes from the original purchaser’s son that sold it to my friend who I am selling it for,” this 1956 Austin-Healey 100-4 BN2 is the exception. Mostly because photos show a car in excellent overall condition with bright paint, good chrome and trim, a clean interior, and a well-sorted engine compartment. Also, it’s cheap. The $40,000 Buy-It-Now price is fire-sale value for all but a #3 or lesser car, and—assuming the numbers match—the Healey seems a good deal better than this. Better yet, with a pre-1957 build date the roadster is eligible for just about any US rally or tour the next owner cares to enter.
