Veloce for Four – 1970 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 S

Like many sellers, the owner of this 1970 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 S casually throws around the word “survivor.” Unlike everybody else, he’s right. For starters, the Giulia enjoyed 36 years of careful storage and driving with its first owner and retains all factory sheet metal in rust-free condition. Most of the Verde Muschio paint is original and the odometer shows just 58,317km (36,236 miles). After importing the car from Italy in the 2006 the current owner displayed the Alfa at Concorso Italiano where judges noted it was the only one they’d ever seen in the States. Also, that it was the Best Alfa Romeo, which they expressed in writing on a trophy. We love these cars for their unique styling and the opportunity they provide to share a little Italian mechanical passion with three. We love this Giulia, in particular, because it’s likely as close as anyone will get to buying a 1600 S off the showroom floor.
