The Antique Automobile Club of America is coming to Lowe’s Speedway in Concord, NC next weekend for their Southeastern Spring Meet. The club is expected to bring more than 600 classic cars to the meet, which is part of the much larger Food Lion AutoFair.
In addition to the AACA meet, the four-day Food Lion AutoFair also includes a car corral featuring various makes and models from more than 50 clubs; more than 10,000 vendor spaces offering parts and memorabilia; and a collector car auction conducted by Tom Mack. The corral features 1,500 collectible vehicles of all makes lining the 1.5-mile oval speedway.
Lowe’s Motor Speedway bills the event as the “world’s largest automotive extravaganza.” Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets for Food Lion AutoFair can be purchased at the gates on event days. Admission is $10 per day for adults with children ages 12 and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Coupons for $2 off adult admission are available at Charlotte-area Food Lion stores. Parking is $5.
