Heacock Classic Gold Cup Historic Races – VIR

The Heacock Classic Gold Cup Historic Race is VIR’s crown jewel in the calendar. Featuring All American Muscle for 2008, the event will spotlight cars with American power. Entries are expected to include V8-powered “Specials” from the 50s and 60s, plus Can-Am, Trans-Am, IMSA and even NASCAR racers from the past.

The 2008 Heacock Classic Gold Cup Historic Races will be held June 6th – 8th. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling VIR at (434) 822-7700.

• Aerobatic Aircraft Shows Saturday & Sunday
• Vintage & Military Aircraft Fly-bys & Displays
• A Huge Street Rod, Muscle Car, Classic Car, Motorcycle & Sports Car Show
• A Special Event Appearance by Diane Sox, Wife of Former Super Stock Drag Racer Ronnie Sox of Sox & Martin Fame
• VIR will open its 1.1 mile Patriot Road Course for show cars to take exhibition laps throughout all three days
• With prior notice all car clubs will be given assigned parking on the show car field
