Hilton Head Auction Preview – Worldwide Auctioneers

Worldwide Auctioneers will hold its third annual Hilton Head auction event on November 1st at the Honey Horn Plantation located on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.

Held in conjunction with the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival, Worldwide Auctioneers’ 2008 Hilton Head auction will feature more than 100 automobiles for the single-day event. The fall auction features an excellent collection of vintage motor cars, headlined by an Alfa Romeo 6C 2500, 1917 Packard Runabout, 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400, 1958 Dual Ghia Convertible, among many other notable consignments.

A full day preview will be held on Friday, October 31st from 10am to 5pm at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn. The auction gets underway at 11am on Saturday, November 1st. 1942 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sports Cabriolet – Estimate $400,000 – $500,000. Offered for sale with its original engine, chassis and aluminum body, this exceptional Alfa was selected as the Most Elegant Sports Car at Amelia Island in 2005, among many other awards including a 100 point judging at a CCCA event.
