The Little Car Show was held Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Pacific Grove, California, as part of the larger Monterey Classic Car Week.
The Little Car Show is limited to 60 gas-powered micro, mini and arcane vehicles under 1,601cc, in addition to any and all electric vehicles. The second annual event was followed by a tour/parade around Pacific Grove’s scenic waterfront and beaches beginning at Lover’s Point and following Ocean View Boulevard to Asilomar.
The 2011 edition of the Little Car Show garnered big crowds and big smiles, as spectators enjoyed seeing the little guys of Monterey Car Week in the casual setting of charming downtown Pacific Grove. Notable entrants included a 1959 DKW 3=6; 1968 Honda S800 Coupe; pair of Messerschmitts; various Fiats and Austins; 1931 American Austin Roadster 142; 1973 Electra King Three Wheel with Cadillac hood ornament; 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno, among others.
