Assistance League of Southern California is pleased to present the 3rd Annual Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance at the Rose Bowl and adjacent Brookside Golf Course on June 1, 2008.
The event will showcase 300 extraordinary cars in elegant condition such as horseless carriages dating from 1904, European and American classics from the 20s, 30s and 40s, muscle cars of the 50s and 60s, European sports cars, exotic cars—including a large display of Ferraris, hot rods and race cars.
Concours will feature cars of the stars and will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of General Motors by including two classes of Prewar and Postwar Cadillac, GM’s first model. Expert judges will select first, second and third place winners among 35 classes and will present two special pre- and postwar “best in show” awards. Food and automotive related vendors will also be part of the event.
There will be a cocktail celebration on Saturday, May 31, 2008, for exhibitors, sponsors and patrons. A VIP luncheon and beverage pavilion will be at the Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, June 1. VIP tickets cost $100 and are available pre-sale only.
General Admission is $25 prior to May 15, 2008, and $30 at the gate. Children under 12 are free, and there is ample free parking. To purchase tickets online, visit the Los Angeles Concours Web site at www.laconcours.com or call 323-469-1973, ext. 239.
The Los Angeles Concours is managed entirely by volunteers, and all proceeds go directly to the eight services of Assistance League of Southern California, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded in 1919 that serves more than 100,000 individuals in need, from infants to the elderly, each year.
