Quail Lodge Auction Preview – Bonhams & Butterfields

The 2008 Bonhams & Butterfields “Quail Lodge, A Sale of Exceptional Motorcars and Automobilia” will be held Friday, August 15th at the Quail Lodge Resort in Carmel, California.

Bonhams & Butterfields’ 11th annual auction, held in connection with The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering, will feature 75 cars, collectively valued north of $25 million. Bonhams has several very significant cars, including more than 10 cars expected to break the $1 million barrier. The belle of the ball should be the storied Jaguar E2A Le Mans Prototype, which is expected to garner bids over $7 million. Click here for more information about this inimitable Jaguar.

Admission to the Quail Lodge auction comes with purchase of a catalog, which admits two people. Previews for the motorcars and automobilia will take place on Wednesday, August 13th and Thursday, August, 14th from 10am – 5pm. Please note that entry to Bonhams & Butterfields’ previews and auctions does not require a ticket to The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, which is a separate event held by Quail Lodge on August 15th.
