Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) said longtime member Jim Pace has taken over part ownership of the vintage car racing organization from enthusiast Peter McLaughlin.
“My goal has always been to see a successful HSR and I believe Jim will be a tremendous asset to help achieve that goal,” commented McLaughlin.
Jim Pace said, “Thank you to Peter McLaughlin for having the confidence in me to carry on the dedication to vintage racing through HSR events. The participants of HSR make the events successful and I am eager to share the racing passion with them going forward.”
“Peter McLaughlin has been a part of historic racing in the United States for many years. We all owe him a great deal of thanks for helping to shape the sport into what we enjoy today. Jim’s extensive experience in many aspects of motorsports as a longtime Skip Barber instructor, professional race driver and historic competitor will only add to the quality, sportsmanship and safety of our events,” added David Hinton, President of HSR.
