With the Monterey Week auctions firmly behind us, we thought it was a good time to update the ranking of the Top 10 prices paid for cars sold at auction.
While there were many strong results to be found in Monterey, there is only one new addition to the Top 10, the very special Bugatti Type 57SC Atalante Coupe sold by Gooding & Company for $7,920,000 at their Pebble Beach Auction. It is worth noting that the Bugatti broke the North American auction record.
The Bugatti’s inclusion to the ranking pushes the 1953 Ferrari 340/375 MM RM Auctions sold May 2007 for $5,717,250 out of the Top 10.
