  1. Lots of great photographs from Tim Scott, I particularly like the photo of the Lotus – Climax 15 of Joe Tyyman and Roger Wills winning the Madgwick Cup race, shows that engine size is not all that important when it comes to pre 60s Sports Racing cars, car design, and driver ability will win every time…

    • Gregory De Prins says:

I totally agree. On the same picture the little blue Rejo Climax MKIV just behind is a wonderful little car.
This Coventry Climax FWA 1100 cc powered car is very light and very quick through the corners. It finished this race in 5th position just behind two Lotus XV, a Cooper Climax Monaco and a Lotus Climax 17…well done !

  2. John Alden says:

Wonderful pictures and memories of my wasted youth. .
I have lived in Canada for 50 years and miss the revivals; however I will be going to Spa in May 2013
The photo of the white Jaguar Mk.1 is great. It has the licence plate “BUY 1″. That used to belong to a Lotus Elite back in the 50′s. There was
a second Elite that had “BUY 12″ (buy one too!) The owner /driver’s name is on the tip of my tongue but I cannot grab it…help.

  3. Don Kimmer says:

I also like the photo of the Jaguar Mk 1. I have watched many of the shows of Goodwood Revival, and Festival of Speed on Speed in the US.I would soooooo much love to go there someday. I think the driver of that Jag. is Barry …….something, he is a driving son of a gun! I love watching him drive. All of the photos are fantastic, I just like this one best because, I love Jags and Barry drives the hell out of it.

  4. William Akers says:

The photo of the C-Type and Tojeiro is my favorite. The lighting is perfect and the Jag is perfectly in focus despite the moving background.

  5. beautiful pictures..need more of the saloon races though.like to see the american saloon cars in action…thanks for a great job.

  6. I like the action and the motion (make that e-motion) in the DBR1 2011 Goodwood Revival (headlights in your face at 12 o’clock) and the 55 Ferrari 857 Sport at the 2011 Goodwood Revival, recently sold for $6,270,000. This photo alone is worth that much.!!! Tim Scott rates a round of top podium applause for all these great images!
