Goodwood Revival 2012 – Photo Gallery

The Goodwood Revival 2012 was staged 14-16 September at the 7-turn, 2.4 mile Goodwood Motor Circuit located on the estate of Lord March’s Goodwood House in West Sussex, England. The 14th annual Revival again proved why it’s considered by many to be the finest historic motor race in the world.

In addition to our more comprehensive individual race reports, we offer the following selection of images from Julien Mahiels that offer a stunning overview of the 2012 Goodwood Revival and the many sights found at the famed race weekend in Southern England. 1. Great photographs Julien, the single seater racing car (white with blue race stripes) number 30, just what is that? Good to see not one mobile telephone (cell phone) in sight…keep up the good work Julien, thanks once again. Missed meeting you at Nurburgring, but got in a couple of laps of the Nordschleife, (as usual). I hope you cover the six hours of SPA 21-23 September…

  2. Thank you ! I’ll cover Spa6h indeed. I think it is a 61 Lola Ford MK3 but not really sure

  3. GRAHAM HUMPAGE says:

What a fabulous weekend – you captured the details to memorable perfection! Having taken over 800 ‘snaps’ of my own it is clear that I should just throw away my camera and put the money towards a D type for next year! Many thanks for the smile on my face!

  4. From this angle the white car with blue stripes could be a Maserati Birdcage.

  5. I apologise to you Julien, (and everyone else) I got my race numbers mixed up, the car I should have been asking about is photograph #202. Car #31 it looks similar to an Elva FJ but the bonnet scoop has got me fooled. It´s the white single seater with a blue side stripe and nose band. Alan I always thought the Maserati Birdgage was a two seater…(he says with tongue in cheek!)

  6. Julien Hi, Fantastic Use of Light and Shutter speed. It pays to get up early to capture the early morning light.
But coming from the other side of the Globe it could be evening light also.
