Sports Car Digest covered nearly 100 historic car races and rallies in 2012, starting with the New Year’s Day Anti-Football Run and ending with the Historic Grand Prix at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. Though reading over highlights and results of each event and race can be interesting, nothing makes you feel like you’re there like a well-timed action shot. As a publication that annually puts out thousands of photos, the task of narrowing down the most popular pictures of the year can be a daunting one. From a Ferrari 500 TRC on the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance to a Lotus whipping around corners at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, our dozens of photographers captured some truly stunning moments in 2012.
After crunching statistics to ease the way in finding the 50 most viewed pictures of 2012, we’re turning our difficult task over to you to vote for the best one. Similar to our Best of 2009 and Best of 2010 and Best of 2011 contests, we are asking for your assistance in helping us pick the very best vintage car racing photo from 2012.
Simply vote by leaving a comment below indicating which photo is your favorite image.
